What if I haven't done yoga before?

Classes start with a grounding phase to ensure you are fully relaxed into the class before moving onto mobility exercises to warm up the joints which will prepare you for pulse raising activities such as sun salutations which are designed to raise the heart rate before moving through the main asanas (poses). After moving with your breath and holding asanas, the class will finish with relaxation.

Clothing should be comfortable (gym wear is fine). You may want to bring a jumper for the final relaxation.

Yoga is best done barefoot. If you do wish to wear socks, it is best to buy non-slip yoga or pilates socks.

Ensure you bring a bottle of water (a refill station is available on site).

I will have a small number of mats, blocks and straps so you are encouraged to bring your own. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Everyone needs to start somewhere and my classes are designed for all abilities. I will be able to offer you a range of modifications and as you progress through the classes, you will begin to feel more confident.

Yoga is for everyone but that being said, all participants will need to complete a health form to make sure the practice is safe for you. This will be emailed to you to complete when you sign up and will be stored securely in line with GDPR. Before starting a class, I will always check with participants if there have been any changes I need to be aware of.

How do I make a booking?

Please contact me to make a booking (details on the Contact page). You can book one or more sessions. Payment will be taken for all the sessions you wish to book onto. When you book, I will share my bank details so a transfer can be made.

If you prefer to pay by cash, you can do this on the day. However, please note that if you cancel and have not paid in cash, you will need to pay at the next session you attend.

What is the cancellation policy?

I appreciate that things can change. Please contact me within 12 hours to cancel your space so that I can open it up to someone else. Please note that you will not receive a monetary refund, but you will be able to use this towards another session.

If you arrive late for a session, and are not able to join a class, or you do not show up for a booking, you will not receive a refund or the option to use it at a later date.
